La evolución tecnológica del telar

Abstract

El presente documento presenta el transitar tecnológico del que es el implemento indispensable para la fabricación de telas de tejido plano, el telar, desde sus inicios con el telar en la rama de un árbol, hasta las más recientes innovaciones tecnológicas. Aunque en la historia de la industria textil han surgido diferentes sistemas que permiten fabricar otros tipos de textiles, se concluye en este trabajo que el principio funcional del telar no se ha modificado desde su origen. Este artículo es parte del proyecto en desarrollo “El proceso de reestructuración industrial en el sector textil en el Estado de México durante 1980 y 1990 y sus perspectivas actuales.” con número de registro 2316/2006U de la UAEM

This paper shows the technological transition of what is the indispensable object for the plane fabrics manufacturing, the loom, since its starts with the loom in a tree’s branch, until the most recently technological innovations.
